Terms of Use

By using the Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd. Sled Talk Blog, you agree to the following terms and conditions, as well as Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd.’s Privacy Policy.

There are some basic rules for participating on the Sled Talk Blog:

    1. Be nice and be smart. Comments on this blog are moderated and approved before being posted. Comments that are abusive, harassing or otherwise inappropriate or off-topic will not be posted. This also includes comments that discuss or promote unsafe or dangerous operation of any of our products and includes inappropriate criticism of the products and/or services of any of our competitors.
    2. This blog is intended as a resource and discussion forum for Canadians interested in snowmobiling. Unfortunately, this isn’t the place to address warranty or customer service problems or products sold outside of Canada. If you have an issue with a Yamaha product purchased in Canada, please contact our Customer Service Department by filling out this form or by calling (416) 498-1911 during normal business hours. They’ll be happy to help you. If you have an issue with a product purchased outside of Canada, please contact your local Yamaha Dealer.
    3. We love hearing from you – but we can’t reply to every comment. We will always make an effort to respond to questions or concerns raised here within 24 hours, but please be aware that we receive hundreds of comments every week, so can’t reply to each one personally or immediately. If you have an urgent customer service issue, please see point #2.
    4. Comments left on this site become the property of Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd. (YMCA), and you grant us the right to make, have made, offer for sale, use, sell, copy, distribute, perform, transmit, display, modify, adapt and otherwise use your comments(s) throughout the world in perpetuity in any manner that it sees fit without compensation to you. YMCA also has the right to use your name or screen name in connection with any use of your submissions.
    5. The comments you leave on this site are not confidential, and we won’t treat them that way, nor will we delete them if requested. That means you should never leave a comment that contains anything embarrassing, private, proprietary, a trade secret or information owned by someone other than you.

Enjoy!
